SENSEI JEFF BEDARD
Instructor
Jeff Bedard is originally a product of Fred Wren’s Black Belt Karate Association of St. Louis, Missouri. In 1997, he was recruited and trained by World Shitoryu Karate Federation (WSKF) Pan-American President Shoko Sato to serve as Executive Director for the American branch (USA Shito-Kai). Under his direction, the USA Shito-Kai National Team earned male and female USA-NKF National Team Kumite Titles, in addition to Team and Individual awards at the 2006, 2009, and 2016 WSKF World Championships. He currently serves as Secretary General to the USA Shito-Kai Chapter. Additionally, he officiates at USA-NKF/PKF/WSKF sanctioned championships.

SENSEI MONIQUE FIELDS
Instructor
Monique Fields is originally from California and a Desert Storm veteran. She began training in Shitoryu and with Sensei Bedard in 2003. Since her time with the USA Shitokai, she has served as the Communication Director of the USA Shitokai and has worked tirelessly towards working together with other USA Shitokai clubs to promote the organization.

SENPAI MATEO GARDUNO
Assistant Instructor
Mateo Garduno is a Nidan (2nd Degree) with the World Shitoryu Karate Federation.
He began training with Senseis Bedard and Fields at the age of 8yrs through the Bellevalley School Karate Program. Since then Senpai Garduno has become a integral part of the dojo family through coaching and assisting with classes. Additionally, Senpai Garduno is currently attending college at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) and studying in the field of the Biological Sciences while teaching part-time at dojo.
