Feature Your Achievements!

Some years ago I began looking for a way to consolidate and display some of my major athletic awards. Being a woodworking hobbyist, I began making memory boxes. As my two children began to accomplish things in life - I started make boxes for them as well. Whenever they participated in something of merit I would always think to grab an extra program, take a decent photo, and keep the details of their accomplishment on an Excel spreadsheet.
Then once or twice a year (like birthdays and Christmas) I would manufacture a suitable memory box that could be either displayed on a table or shelf, or hung on their bedroom wall or in a hallway. My kids loved them. Whenever family members visit our home they always comment on both the accomplishment - and the way we displayed them. Most visitors to our home comment that they would like to do the same thing for their family members - but frequently lack the time, tools, or expertise to do so.
So, at the suggestion of my kids and Sensei Moe, I offer my talent for creating these items to you.
Here's how things are working right now. (If you have ideas to improve it - let me know.)
Karate Belt Display Rack with name-plate - $35.00
In stock at dojo.
This is a solid wood item made of pine. It has 10 spaces for displaying belts white thru black. It also has three pegs at the bottom to hang the season's medals from. On the back side I install a heavy duty hanging wire - making it easy to install on any nail or picture hanger. I use a 50lb picture hook in drywall (or a stud) to hang mine without any tearing of the drywall. (It actually weighs about 10 lbs loaded).
